Okay, so last week, I got angry about something, was feeling restless and destructive and all "changey" about myself, so I grabbed a pair of scissors and hacked my hair. This picture best reflects the bangs I have now. I don't look as special bus as the actress there, but the hair is fairly accurate.
I think this is a new epidemic, where I'm starting to do what I feel like in that exact moment, balls out, without fearing the repercussions before I even do anything. Chicken shit is not how i want to head my life.
Also, in unprecedented events, some people from my past have emerged, and I'm ready to face my old demons. (Slowly, slowly. DOn't push me) These people might not, but fuck it if I'm going to stunt my personal growth in fear of their feelings about it. I'm not being aggressive or anything. I just want to clear the air, so to speak. In part inspired by my friends, who are themselves talented at getting closure, in part to become a little bit more true and fearless, and in part cause the situations set themselves up nicely for it. Like a perfect shot at the putting green.
Isn't it funny how much more grounded i feel when i stir up the pot? I always kept my eyes closed and my neck covered, but i feel more safe, standing up and asking questions. Is that Am.Lit irony or Alanis irony?
