Maybe one of you could clue me in.
I realize that people who stay positive are well-liked. Who doesn't enjoy a smile? And griping gets old quick. Even your staunch blue friends are going to get tired of the whining and ranting.
So what do you do when times are so rough that you can't help being angry/sad/tired/suspicious/mopey/et all? You have a limited time of opening your soul to people before they cancel their subscription. Even if you are savvy to catching yourself before you become a human plague, what do you do with yourself?
Option 1: Cry louder. Maybe some Mother Theresa-like soul will stick by you and feed you jello while you weep on a cot.
*BUZZER*
Option 2: Find a cave/cabin/hole in the ground. Ignore all human pleas to return to civilization. Try not to write a threatening manifesto or create your own language. You'll find the retreat refreshing and come back ready to party again.
*BUZZER*
Option 3: Pretend nothing is wrong. Smile until it hurts and act like you don't mind when people trample you and your friends get annoyed with your 24/7 giddiness. (Hey it worked all through junior high.)
*BUZZER*
Option 4: See a trained professional, like a therapist or a whore (male or female, whatever) Don't fall in lust. They have experienced legal counsel.
*BUZZER*
Option 5: ....
I have no idea. If you got an inkling, share. Click the date on this entry and send it in. Maybe you'll be the Holy Grail of advice.
