"Constantly talking is not communication."
I hate to keep harping on this movie, but I remember now which scene was most moving for me. It was when Clementine and Joel are lying in bed. She is moody because he is so closed off, emotionally. She keeps asking why he won't share his feelings with her. He responds with this quote. She gets pissed off and tells him so. He apologizes, rather lamely. They lie there for a bit longer.
Mmm hmm. It's a vicious cycle, ain't it?
