Food For Thought!

Wednesday, April 16, 2003
Wow. Two things about tonight's play. 1. Rachel blew my mind. I don't need to go on and on about the actors since they're always good. But I never read anything by Miss Axler before. I am humbled. I was thinking about the story as I drove home and I think I finally figured it out. 2. So many people there tonight! I know it's opening night, but Wednesday night and people were out watching theatre? I'm a theatre geek, it comes with the territory. What's up with these other people?
I saw Squeak's name up on the call list for Joel's play. YAY! While I'm miffed that you didn't tell me, silly boy, I'm still insanely proud of you. Maybe I'll even audition tomorrow night, just for a chance to work with ya. Does one have to be homosexual to partake in Queerlogues? I hope not. If so, I'll fudge it since people think I am anyway.
Here's the scary thought I had tonight. Is it worse to be attention greedy and have everyone roll their eyes at you because you're being loud and annoying OR is it worse to be quiet, reclusive, never make a blip on the radar, and be insignificant? I can't decide. The conundrum is driving me mad. I need advice. Or a couch to lay upon.
I used to have this pseudo-therapist (my parents are fiends for finding "doctors" who really aren't) and he was the best. Too bad he wasn't qualified. Actually, he's like Mumford. Watch it, it's funny. And you can see Jason Lee skating in it.
